Job Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare, fit, and assemble pipe systems and complex turbine components using precision tools and techniques.
  • Perform high-quality welding using TIG (GTAW) and/or FCAW processes in all positions—both on and off the gas turbine unit.
  • Work with high alloy materials, interpreting detailed drawings and maintaining tight tolerances.
  • Operate welding equipment, power tools, rigging devices, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Collaborate closely with your team to meet manufacturing targets and ensure safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Support production by taking on related tasks and cross-functional duties as needed.

What You’ll Bring

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and manufacturing assessment
  • Willingness to work 2nd shift (3PM–11PM), overtime, and occasional weekends
  • Comfortable working in a tobacco-free environment and wearing all required PPE

Who You Are

  • Graduate of an accredited welding program OR have 2+ years of industrial or commercial welding experience
  • Certified or able to certify in TIG (GTAW) and/or FCAW (Flux Core) welding through required testing
  • Skilled at fitting piping systems and working with high alloy metals
  • Detail-oriented and adaptable, with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform hands-on tasks throughout the shift

Tools & Materials You’ll Work With

  • TIG and FCAW welding equipment and supplies
  • Pipe systems, fittings, and combustion components
  • Cranes, forklifts, grinders, and blending tools
  • Measuring devices such as calipers, gauges, and custom fixtures

Fabricator A

Pay Rate: The pay for this position is $30.337 - 31.482. This position is also eligible for shift premium when you work on an off shift i.e. 2nd or 3rd shift. Plus $1.00 USD an hour on top of base pay. This posting is expected to close on August 18th, 2024.
