LEEBOY Inc in Lincolnton, NC is seeking a Fabricator/MIG Flux Core Welder II to join our manufacturing team. This full-time role fabricates and welds frames, subassemblies, and components for asphalt pavers and other equipment.

You should have 5+ years fabricating/welding experience, fluency with Flux Core, and the ability to read blueprints and tape measures. The job requires lifting up to 50 pounds and working with various weld orientations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years welding experience.
• 5+ years fabrication experience.
• Must be able to weld using Flux Core.
• Read/Interpret blueprints.
• Read a tape measure.
• Use a square.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld frames, subassemblies, and components for machines such as asphalt pavers, brooms, graders, loaders, road wideners, tack tanks, and Distributor trucks.
• Position parts in jigs, fixtures on a bench/floor, or clamps parts together along layout marks.
• Weld along vertical, horizontal or overhead weld lines.
• Examine weld for bead size and other specifications.
• Chips or grinds off excess weld, slag, or spatter.
• Cleans or degreases parts.

About the Role:

The Fabricator/MIG Flux Core Welder II is a full-time position based at our Lincolnton, NC manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for fabricating and welding frames, subassemblies, and components for machines such as asphalt pavers, brooms, graders, loaders, road wideners, tack tanks, and Distributor trucks.

In this Role, You Will:

• Need a minimum of 5 years on-the-job fabricating/welding experience
• Five (5) plus years of experience using Flux Core
• Positions parts in jigs, fixtures on a bench/floor, or clamps parts together along layout marks
• Scarfs or grooves weld prior to applying filler metal
• Applies flux to workpiece instead of filler rod
• Lays out, positions, and tack welds workpiece
• Weld along vertical, horizontal or overhead weld lines
• Examine weld for bead size and other specifications
• Chips or grinds off excess weld, slag, or spatter
• Cleans or degreases parts
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Requirements
