Job summary

Hunt Electric Corporation is seeking a Union Fabricator in Texas to join our growing team. You will read blueprints, operate Mig, Tig and Arc welding equipment, and fabricate metal structures to exact specifications with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specifications.
• Operate Mig, Tig and Arc welding equipment to fuse metal segments.
• Inspect welds to ensure quality and conformance with specs.
• Maintain equipment safety and readiness for production.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines.
• Follow safety protocols and Lean/5S drives continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to determine specifications.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments.
• Inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and 5s exercises to continuously improve processes.
