Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a fabricator to manufacture customized products and prepare orders for shipment. You will analyze specifications, select materials, set up machines, and ensure parts meet quality standards.

You will work in a hands-on role requiring independent work with attention to detail and adherence to safety policies. The position emphasizes efficiency, accuracy, and consistent craftsmanship in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Experience with fabrication shop equipment.
• Metal working experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examines order specs from drawings or work orders to determine finished item characteristics and machine setup.
• Fabricates work pieces per work order specifications and retrieves materials.
• Visually or with gauges inspect finished pieces to ensure standards.
• Packages for shipping and installs protective devices to prevent transport damage.
• Maintains clean, organized work area and adheres to safety policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
