Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) is seeking a fabrication-focused professional to perform a variety of tasks in a safe, accurate, and timely manner at our manufacturing facility in Wisconsin. You will read blueprints, operate hand and power tools, and contribute to prototype work and ongoing quality checks.
The role requires blueprint reading, basic math, and strong mechanical aptitude, with opportunities to engage in continuous improvement and teamwork within a factory setting.

Perform a variety of fabrication tasks in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Applicable technical training or experience is preferred for advanced assignments.
Blueprint reading skills are required. Must possess the ability to apply basic math skills, specifically with fractions and decimals. Must possess strong mechanical aptitude. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process and quality systems. Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system. Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to normal office conditions like telephone, personal computer, reports and files. The employee will also be exposed to normal conditions of a manufacturing facility. The employee will also be regularly required to talk or hear. The employee will be required to stand for long periods of time. The employee will use his/her hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and climb or balance and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will frequently lift, carry or otherwise move and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 70 pounds. When working on machinery, employee will bend, stoop and crouch on a regular basis and constantly move about to coordinate work. The employee is required to regularly set up, adjust, assemble, control, test and operate machinery.
