Responsibilities

• Stock and organize materials, parts, and supplies to keep production areas adequately supplied.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment through housekeeping and organization tasks.
• Assist fabricators and welders with material preparation, staging, and shop support activities.
• Move, sort, and store materials and finished products in designated locations.
• Follow verbal and written instructions to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while staying productive and detail-oriented.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members about material needs and priorities.
• Demonstrate initiative by identifying tasks needing attention and supporting shop operations.
• Learn fabrication processes, tools, and equipment to develop skills for advancement into a Fabricator role.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Fabricator Helper

Wage: $21.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• Forklift Certified (or the ability to obtain certification)
• Must be able to consistently lift 75 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout shift
• Working knowledge of basic hand tools as well as fabrication tools
• Reliability, hardworking, and a desire to learn
• Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/32 inches
• Good basic math skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to accurately count and verify parts quantities
