Job summary

HDT Global, a leader in engineered military expeditionary and rugged industrial products, is seeking fabrication/welding personnel for on-site manufacturing. The role requires operating grinders, welders, and sheet metal equipment per engineering drawings.

Candidates must have at least 1 year of fabrication experience, proficient English, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions. OSHA-compliant and quality-focused work ethic is expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ year fabrication experience required.
• Must speak, read and understand English.
• Ability to work from verbal and written instructions; operate small power tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Uses Angle Grinder to remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from containers or modify containers.
• Sets up and operates spot welders for all production jobs.
• Uses equipment to mark and join a variety of sheet metal materials, including aluminum and stainless steel.
• Able to run production with the aid of fixtures.
• Checks containers to engineering drawings using precision measuring equipment.

• Sets up and operates spot welders for all production jobs

• Able to run production with the aid of fixtures
• Checks containers to engineering drawings using precision measuring equipment

Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:

• 1+ Year of Fabrication Experience required
• Must be able to speak, read and understand English
• Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
• Operation of small power tools, other hand tools and computerized and high-pressure
