Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a hands-on assembler/operator in Mobile, AL. You will work in a team to produce reliable infrastructure components, adhere to quality and safety standards, and follow written instructions to ensure accurate finishing.

The role involves measuring, cutting, and basic fabrication with potential lift equipment training and occasional heavy lifting. The environment can be loud and temperature-varied; candidates should be precise in math and measurements and commit to timely

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a hands-on environment.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions precisely.
• Strong attention to detail and safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and perform basic fabrication tasks (cuts, threads, grooves).
• Measure materials and verify tolerances with basic math.
• Learn to operate lift equipment.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds in a loud, temperature-varied environment.
• Complete tasks in a timely, accurate manner.
