Job summary

Distribution International seeks a reliable Fabricator to operate band saws and other tools to fabricate fiberglass, mineral wool, and other insulation materials. You will work as part of a safety‑conscious team in a fast-paced environment, measuring materials and maintaining quality while following all safety rules.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and the ability to obtain respirator certification if needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
• Experience and/or training in a manufacturing/fabrication/warehouse environment (preferred).
• Able to be medically certified to wear respirator (if required).
• Basic computer skills (preferred).
• Forklift certified.
• Education High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate appropriate equipment.
• Accurately measure material for efficiency.
• Maintain quality and housekeeping.
• Ensure production levels are meet daily.
• Comply with all safety requirements.
• Perform other fabrication duties as assigned by supervisor.

Your Responsibilities

As a Fabricator, you will operate a band saw, and other types of saws, to custom fabricate fiberglass, mineral wool, perlite, and many other types of specialized insulation. If you are a reliable team player with a desire to work safely in a fast-paced environment,

• Safely and efficiently operate appropriate equipment.

Physical Requirements

This role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on the specific job duties.

Compensation Range $13.00 - $30.00. To comply with Pay Transparency laws, employers must disclose an annual salary range. Actual offers depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, and market data. This position may also offer variable compensation.
