Job summary

Creative Sign Company Inc. is seeking a skilled Sign Fabricator to join our Wisconsin-based team. You will fabricate high-quality signs such as channel letters, monument signs, and pylons using welding and hand/power tools in a fast-paced setting.

You will collaborate with sales, design, production, paint, and installation teams, while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. A high school diploma and 3–5 years of experience are required; welding/E LED knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in sign fabrication.
• Strong experience with welding, hand tools, and power tools.
• Welding certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of electrical systems (LED) is a plus.
• OSHA safety certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cut, weld, assemble, and finish a variety of custom signs per customer specs and drawings.
• Work with metals, plastics, acrylics, and electrical components to meet standards and aesthetics.
• Maintain quality within deadlines.
• Collaborate with sales, design, production, paint, and installation teams.
• Document all time and materials in Mothernode for projects.
• Document changes or deviations from original designs in Mothernode and communicate them to the team.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; wear PPE as required.

Creative Sign Company a leading sign manufacturing company, is looking for a Sign Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality signs, including channel letters, monument signs, pylon signs, and other custom signage. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands‑on experience with sign fabrication techniques and materials, a strong understanding of safety standards, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Key Responsibilities

Job Duties:

Utilize a variety of tools and equipment (i.e. welding machines, power tools, and hand tools) to cut, weld, assemble, and finish a variety of custom signs based on customer specifications and design drawings.

Work with various materials, including metals, plastics, acrylics, and electrical components, to create signs that meet industry standards, as well as the company’s quality and aesthetic standards.

Maintain consistent product quality while working within time constraints to meet deadlines.

Collaborate with internal teams (sales, design, production, paint, and installation) to ensure the smooth execution of projects.

Communicate eAectively with team members to address challenges, share ideas, and solve problems collaboratively.

Document all time and materials thoroughly and properly in Mothernode for all projects worked on.

Document any changes or deviations from original design specifications in Mothernode and communicate them to the team as needed.

Safety & Compliance:

Follow all safety procedures and company policies when using tools and machinery.

Ensure the safe handling and proper storage of materials and chemicals used in fabrication.

Participate in regular safety training sessions and adhere to OSHA regulations.

Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when working in designated areas.

Qualifications Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional technical training in sign fabrication, welding, or a related field is preferred.

3–5 years of experience in sign fabrication, including working with a variety of materials and fabrication techniques. Strong experience with welding, hand tools, and power tools is required.

Welding certification or similar technical certification is preferred but not required.

Knowledge of electrical systems (LED) is a plus.

OSHA safety certifications are a plus.
