Job summary

Distribution International is seeking a Fabricator to operate sewing machines, staplers and hand tools to custom fabricate removable, reusable blanket insulation in a fast-paced environment. You should be a reliable team player who works safely and efficiently.

You will accurately measure material, maintain quality and housekeeping, meet daily production levels, and comply with all safety requirements. Additional fabrication duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Experience and/or training in a sewing/binding environment (preferred).
• Able to be medically certified to wear respirator (if required).
• Basic computer skills (preferred).
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate appropriate equipment.

Physical Requirements This role requires prolonged standing, sitting and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on the specific job duties.

Compensation Range $13.00 - $30.00 To comply with Pay Transparency laws, employers must disclose an annual salary range. Actual offers depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, and market data. This position may also offer variable compensation.
