Job summary

Qualifications

• Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units, following blueprints and layout specifications, and using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools.
• Design and construct templates and fixtures, using the required tools.
• Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications, using squares, rulers, and measuring tapes.
• Proficient in Math and can accurately read measuring devices.
• Familiar with schematic reading, electrical, pneumatics, and general building.
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledge in welding, (GMAW, SMAW, GTAW, FCAW).
• Knowledge in braze welding.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including ability to grasp, manipulate and assemble parts and components that are often very small, and/or heavy.
