Alaskan Copper Works in Seattle is seeking a Fabrication Welder to weld or burn metal for fabrication and assembly, including tack welds for spooling or tank fabrication and cutting holes in pipe to specifications after layout by fitters.

Must have MIG and TIG welding ability, read welding symbols, and pass welding tests; English proficiency required. Work is day shift with competitive pay and union representation through International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 104 after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Read tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Read welding symbols.
• Read/write/understand and communicate in English.
• Completed welding training program with MIG and TIG welding; pass welding test.
