Job summary

Cruz Construction is seeking a Welder - Non-Union to weld, repair, and maintain equipment used on construction projects at the Palmer Shop. The role requires reading blueprints, following welding symbols, and performing routine maintenance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of welding experience, familiarity with GMAW/GTAW in aluminum and steel, and the ability to work overtime as needed. Benefits include health, 401k, life insurance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; valid state driver license.
• Five years of job-related welding experience with fabrication and repair of construction equipment.
• Preferred welding certifications.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints and welding symbols.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate incoming equipment for malfunctions and defects.
• Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and welding symbols to fabricate or repair parts.
• Operate calipers, weld gauges, and tape measures to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain equipment maintenance schedule and perform routine servicing.
• Adhere to safety procedures and quality standards during welding and assembly.
