Job summary

Consolidated Pipe & Supply is seeking a Manufacturing and Fabrication - Utility Operator for our ductile iron fabrication facility in Bessemer, AL. The role is full-time and located in Bessemer, AL, with responsibilities spanning safety compliance, equipment operation, and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in manufacturing, operations, or processing is a plus.
• Ability to read safety, quality and process procedures, drawings and production orders.
• Ability to use various measuring devices accurately.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other equipment.
• Must pass drug screening.
• Self-motivated and able to lead, follow company policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA and company safety regulations, procedures and housekeeping requirements.
• Safely operate equipment to produce products that meet quality and specification requirements.
• Ensure each piece, order, and project is completed correctly and on time.
• Inspect and test products for compliance with industry standards and quality criteria.
• Maintain accurate records of production, testing and inspection.
• Troubleshoot and correct issues with fabrications and equipment.
