Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years manufacturing/operations experience preferred.
• Ability to read safety, quality, and process procedures and drawings.

• Able to operate forklift and other equipment.

Responsibilities

We are looking for the right candidate to fill a Manufacturing and Fabrication - Utilityposition at our ductile iron fabrication facility in Bessemer/McCalla, AL.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA and Company safety regulations, procedures, and housekeeping requirements
• Safely operate equipment to produce products that meet quality and specification requirements
• To ensure each piece, order, and project is completed correctly and on time
• Inspecting and testing products for compliance with industry standards and quality acceptance criteria
• Maintaining accurate records of production, testing, and inspection
• Troubleshooting and correcting issues with fabrications and equipment

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies

• A high school diploma or GED is required
• A minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing, operations, or processing experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is a plus
• Ability to read and understand safety, quality, and process procedures, drawings, schematics, production orders, and standards
• Ability to use various measuring devices accurately
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other equipment
• A strong work ethic, a strong desire to learn, and commitment to customers, the team, and the Company
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Must be able to pass a drugscreening
