Job summary

Ridge Corp in Ohio seeks a manufacturing professional with machine operation or maintenance experience to join a production team focused on achieving specific goals. The role requires working with safety, quality and engineering to maintain performance in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Candidate must follow work instructions, adhere to LOTO safety standards, and be capable of troubleshooting multiple tasks while reading customer and Ridge print specifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma / GED preferred.
• Two months job related experience required, including machine operator / maintenance.
• Ability to identify ultrasonic, thermal, electrical and pneumatic concerns.
• Ability to follow work instructions from start up to shut down.
• Knowledge of company safety, OSHA and department policies and procedures including Lock Out Tag Out.
• Good applied interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic English and perform basic math functions including reading a tape measure.
• Ability to be self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine operator and/or machine maintenance tasks.
• Learn and follow work instructions.
• Adhere to Lock Out Tag Out safety standards.
• Manage multiple tasks and troubleshoot independently.
• Read and apply customer and Ridge print specifications.
• Assist with data entry and management through ERP system.
• Perform quality inspections.
• Meet or exceed production standards.
• Exhibit excellent time management and communication skills.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Be self-motivated and follow safety policies.
• Maintain clean work environment following 5S.
• Make recommendations to continually improve processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
