Job summary

Orano USA in Kernersville, NC, is seeking a Manufacturing Tech to join our fabrication team. You will support assembly, equipment setup, and material handling in a state-of-the-art facility delivering products for the nuclear industry.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read drawings, lift up to 50 pounds, and work with lean manufacturing practices; on-site schedule may vary to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Must possess mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to read drawings and specifications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must possess basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and intermediate level equipment and tooling setup.
• Prepare intermediate parts for processing.
• Operate saws and CNC cutting machines (laser, waterjet, plasma) as required.
• Rig parts through the facility, assisting or leading as needed.
• Blast and paint products in fabrication or final assemblies.
