Job summary

YKK AP America Inc. in Georgia is seeking a production associate to complete units to specifications of daily orders. TRAINING MAY OCCUR ON A DIFFERENT SHIFT FOR UP TO ONE MONTH.

The shift listed is 6:00A-2:30PM M-F. The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and following 5S and safety procedures while producing to daily production needs and maintaining YKK quality standards.

Qualifications

• At least two years of manufacturing experience.
• Basic computer skills; Excel and Word preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain safety standards.
• Quality-focused and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Follows specific requirements of a particular job order.
• Fabricates according to daily production requirements.
• Communicates and works with entry level employees in various phases.
• Follows directions from department supervisor and ensures they are carried out.
• Keeps area organized and 5S procedures followed.
• Audits completed product to meet order requirements and YKK quality standards.
• Communicate non-conforming product issue to Manager / Supervisor.
• Set up machines and equipment.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed for business purposes.
