Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking a Fabrication Technician for the first shift to join our manufacturing team. You will read blueprints, set up fabrication equipment, and perform precision cutting, welding, grinding, and finishing tasks to meet strict quality standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting components, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to resolve fabrication issues.

• Must read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Strong eye for detail and precise measurement
• Proficient with fabrication tools and machinery and able to operate safely.

• Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication equipment; report or escalated equipment issues.
• Maintain sound safety practices and follow all safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve fabrication or design issues.

Qualifications/Requirements

• High school diploma or GED


• 1-3 years of fabrication, machining, or manufacturing experience


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints


• Proficient with fabrication tools and machinery


• Basic math and measurement skills


• Strong attention to detail
