Assist in the mechanical assembly of industrial engines, coolers, generators, and related components, including equipment alignment to meet WPI packaging standards. Run screwed piping for equipment utilities, install safety shut-downs, guards, and shields as required. Training with Class B, A, Journeyman, etc., in the duties described below.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in overhauling various compressor frames and cylinders.
  2. Assist in setting and aligning coolers, installing vessels, running screwed piping for engine utilities, installing safety shutdowns, and assisting in aligning engines to compressors.

Follow daily instructions from Leaderman, Journeyman & Class A. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Some mechanical knowledge helpful.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Trade school or special service training preferred.

  • Ability to effectively operate overhead cranes.
