Job summary

IPEX is seeking a Fabricator in Wisconsin to learn and operate fabricating machines with safety, quality, and continuous improvement in mind. The role reports to the Shift Supervisor and offers a Friday–Sunday schedule from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a wage of $21.03 per hour plus a $4.25 shift premium.

Responsibilities include setting up and running machines, preparing molds, inspecting for defects, and maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred (training provided).
• Basic math knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot fabricating machines (training provided).
• Prepare molds and machines for all lines.
• Lift and move large, heavy diameter saws.
• Identify material problems and ensure quality standards.
• Accurately set process parameters.
• Remove scrap materials and maintain orderly storage.
• Perform housekeeping around machines and work areas.
• Inspect and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Troubleshoot problems and determine appropriate solutions.
• Support Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) efforts.
• Perform other tasks as needed.
