Job summary

Stryten Energy in Kansas City is seeking a TPS Fabricator to support rapid improvements and Kaizen events, working with Team Leaders, Supervisors and Maintenance Technicians to drive problem solving.

This on-site, first shift role runs Monday–Friday, 6am–2:30pm, with benefits including health, disability, 401(k), PTO and holidays. The candidate will weld, fabricate, machine, plumb and carpentry tasks, read blueprints and handle lead-containing waste safely.

Qualifications

• Requires high-level welding skills and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Capable of fabricating parts from general descriptions with creativity.
• Basic computer skills including MS Outlook and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate items from TPS/Kaizen events.
• Perform welding, fabrication, machining, plumbing and carpentry tasks.
• Use hand and power tools, meters and handling equipment safely.
• Participate in TPS/Kaizen events and manage scrap materials following hazardous waste rules.
• Miscellaneous duties assigned by supervisor.
