Job summary

Enercon Industries is seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team in Wisconsin. You will support fabrication and machining, producing quality components for Enercon equipment according to engineering drawings and production schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Assoc. degree in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, Welding, Automation, or related technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment to produce components per engineering drawings.
• Perform cutting, drilling, punching and other fabrication activities while meeting quality standards.
• Support automated manufacturing equipment using established programs and procedures.
• Verify completed work meets quality requirements using measuring and inspection equipment; report non-conforming conditions.
• Assist with painting preparation and finishing operations, including cleaning, surface preparation, masking, painting, and inspection.
• Develop and refine manufacturing processes as new equipment/products are introduced.
• Monitor material availability and communicate shortages, quality concerns, equipment issues, or production constraints.
• Record labor, production activity, and other required transactions within the ERP system.
• Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, planning, quality, and other departments to meet business objectives and customer expectations.
• Provide support across fabrication, machining, and other manufacturing functions as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery, and operational efficiency; participate in continuous improvement efforts.
• Develop new skills and take ownership of assigned responsibilities; support departmental goals.
• Adhere to safety policies; operate equipment safely and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
