WillowWood seeks a skilled Fabrication Technician to join the Research & Development team. You will help build, modify, and test prototypes, tooling, and equipment, collaborating with engineers to advance new products.

The role involves welding, machining, reading drawings, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment while contributing to production transitions and ongoing learning opportunities.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Welding experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with metal fabrication, machining, and shop equipment.
• Familiarity with manual and/or CNC machines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem solving.
• Ability to read drawings, sketches, measurements, and specifications.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Fabricate, weld, machine, and assemble prototype parts, tooling, and test equipment.
• Operate manual and CNC machining equipment to create and modify components.
• Work closely with engineers to develop, troubleshoot, and improve prototypes and manufacturing processes.
• Assist with product testing, experiments, and equipment modifications.
• Build, repair, and maintain prototype tooling and components.
• Document fabrication methods and support the transition of new products into manufacturing.
• Help train production team members on new products and processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

As a Fabrication Technician, you'll work alongside our engineering team to build, modify, and test prototypes, tooling, and equipment used in developing new products. Every day brings different projects, opportunities to learn, and the satisfaction of seeing your work make a real impact.

What You'll Do
