Job summary

Trystar is seeking an Assistant Materials Supervisor on 1st Shift at our Houston, TX facility. You will lead the fabrication team, drive lean manufacturing, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment. This role requires 2 years of manufacturing experience, leadership ability, and proficiency with ERP (Epicor). You will coordinate daily work, manage inventory, and mentor hourly associates while striving for continuous improvement and 5S compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Manufacturing/Production experience in fast-paced, continuous improvement changing environment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead fabrication team to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Coordinate daily activities and schedules, including overtime.
• Monitor quality, environmental, and safety compliance.
• Maintain production data in Epicor and report issues.
• Drive continuous improvement with standardized work and 5S.
• Manage internal inventory of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Support safety audits and training programs.
