Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced Fabrication, Supply Chain & Warehouse Manager to lead end-to-end operations across fabrication, materials management, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics.

The role focuses on driving operational efficiency, optimizing material flow, improving production and warehouse performance, and developing high-performing teams while balancing safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, supply chain, warehouse, or distribution operations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with fabrication manufacturing processes, including metal forming, punching, and related production operations.
  • Experience managing warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, and material flow activities.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams within manufacturing and supply chain environments.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, and operational excellence methodologies.
  • Experience with SAP, ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and inventory management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead fabrication, warehouse, and supply chain operations to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and cost metrics.
  • Monitor daily operations and resolve production, inventory, and logistics challenges.
  • Provide leadership and oversight of fabrication processes, equipment utilization, and process stability.
  • Partner with Engineering and Maintenance to improve equipment reliability and process capability.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase throughput and reduce waste.
  • Oversee material flow from receiving through production and shipment; optimize inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with procurement, planning, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Utilize SAP, ERP, and WMS to manage inventory and operational performance.
  • Oversee receiving, storage, handling, fulfillment, shipping, and transportation activities.
  • Maintain safe and compliant warehouse operations and high inventory accuracy.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and material movement processes.
  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and teams; set performance goals and conduct reviews.
  • Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives; analyze KPIs to identify opportunities.
  • Champion safety culture and environmental, health, and safety compliance.

We are seeking a Fabrication, Supply Chain & Warehouse Manager to lead end-to-end operations across fabrication manufacturing, materials management, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics. This role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, ensuring seamless material flow, optimizing production and warehouse performance, and developing high-performing teams while balancing safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience in fabrication manufacturing, supply chain operations, and warehouse management, with a proven ability to lead transformation initiatives, improve processes, and deliver business results in a fast-paced production environment.

What Will You Do?

Operations & Production Leadership

  • Lead fabrication, warehouse, and supply chain operations to ensure achievement of production schedules, customer requirements, and business objectives.
  • Drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and cost metrics.
  • Monitor daily operations and proactively resolve production, inventory, and logistics challenges.

Fabrication Manufacturing Management

  • Provide leadership and technical oversight of fabrication processes, including metal forming, punching, and related manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure efficient equipment utilization, process stability, and adherence to standard work practices.
  • Partner with Engineering and Maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and process capability.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase throughput, reduce waste, and improve quality.

Supply Chain & Inventory Management

  • Ensure effective planning and execution of material flow from receiving through production and shipment.
  • Optimize inventory levels, improve inventory accuracy, and minimize material shortages or excess stock.
  • Collaborate with procurement, planning, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Utilize ERP, SAP, and supply chain systems to manage inventory, materials, and operational performance.

Warehouse & Logistics Leadership

  • Oversee receiving, storage, material handling, order fulfillment, shipping, and transportation activities.
  • Ensure safe and efficient warehouse operations while maintaining high levels of customer service and inventory accuracy.
  • Optimize warehouse layout, storage utilization, and material movement processes.
  • Drive warehouse productivity and operational excellence initiatives.

People Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and operational teams to build strong organizational capability.
  • Establish performance goals, conduct performance reviews, and support employee development plans.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
  • Analyze KPIs and operational data to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Safety & Compliance

  • Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
  • Promote safe work practices and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety performance.
What Qualifications Will Make You Successful?
