Job summary

Aagard Minnesota is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead the Fabrication team, hire and mentor staff, and promote a culture of safety and quality while driving performance.

You will set up CNC equipment, read CAD drawings, troubleshoot tooling issues, ensure on-time completion of units, and coordinate with other shifts to keep projects moving.

Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills are required, along with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in machine tool tech or related field is preferred.
• Experience interviewing, performance management, coaching, and developing teams.
• Proficient in reading CAD drawings and blueprints; ability to set up and operate CNC equipment.
• Experience with machinery fabrication and measuring instruments; strong attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to communicate professionally with customers and internal teams.

Pay Range: $28.00- $36.50

Knowledge and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Machine Tool Technology or a related field preferred, along with 3 years of manufacturing supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in interviewing, performance management, coaching, and developing teams advantageous
• Proficient in reading CAD drawings and blueprints
• Demonstrated ability to set up and operate CNC equipment
• Experience in machinery fabrication and measuring instruments
• Strong prioritization, time management, organization, proactive decision-making, and attention to detail
• Experience with Microsoft products including proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Confidence and ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers verbally and in writing
• Commitment to exceeding customer expectations
• Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb
