Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. is seeking a Fabrication Supervisor to oversee the fabrication shop and hourly workers’ development, time approval, and productivity. The role emphasizes safety, budget adherence, and high-quality outputs aligned with project schedules.

You will lead a team, ensure accurate Kronos timekeeping, and coordinate with project managers to meet milestones while maintaining quality and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant industrial experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of ASME codes a plus.
• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and email.
• Effective verbal, written and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with Fabrication Coordinators to ensure all deliverables are executed per the schedule.
• Report any schedule deviations to Senior Supervisor, Project Managers, and Scheduling Department.
• Send inspection notifications following the ITP/JQR.
• Ensure the Senior Supervisor authorizes overtime.
• Accountable for hours and durations of assigned projects and Kronos approvals.
• Accountable for the quality of work performed by assigned employees.
• Responsible for calibration and maintenance of tools and equipment in the assigned area.
• Ensure the team’s participation in the Safety Program.
• Conduct morning toolbox meetings and update Performance Boards daily.
• Influence development and implementation of process improvements and/or training for team members.
• Accountable for housekeeping and 5S of the assigned area.
• Perform other duties as required.

Summary

The Fabrication Supervisor oversees the fabrication shop. Responsible for hourly workers’ development, time approval, and productivity. Ensures assigned deliverables are completed per project schedules. Focused on improving safety standards, completing work within budget, and maintaining the highest quality standards possible.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

• Work with Fabrication Coordinators to ensure that all deliverables are executed per the schedule
• Report any schedule deviations to Senior Supervisor, Project Managers, and Scheduling Department
• Send inspection notifications following the ITP/JQR
• Ensure the Senior Supervisor authorizes overtime
• Accountable for hours and durations of assigned projects as well as the accuracy of the team’s billable hours/KRONOS approvals
• Accountable for the quality of work performed by assigned employees
• Responsible for calibration & maintenance of tools and equipment in the assigned area
• Ensure the team’s participation in the Safety Program
• Conduct morning toolbox meeting, use your teams Performance Boards daily (keep employees updated with actual hours & % complete)
• Influence the development and implementation of process improvements and/or training needed for team members
• Accountable for housekeeping and “5S” of the assigned area
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of fabricating pipe spools and fabricating vessels
• Must be able to read and interpret and work from engineering drawings
• Proficient computer knowledge with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and email
• Effective verbal, written and presentation skills
