• Actively promotes safety in all aspects in the department or work cell.
• Provides training to all employees and ensures each one understands job responsibilities.
• Cross-trains employees for added efficiency.
• Develops and maintains strong communications with all employees; handles complaints and pre-grievances.
• Supervises labor and material to maintain a positive variance against standards.
• Involves employees in corrective action to achieve high quality.
• Creates an atmosphere for development of new concepts and methods for continuous improvement.
• Maintains high workmanship quality and takes responsibility for duties.
