Accurate Personnel is seeking a Fabrication Supervisor in Chicago, IL to oversee daily production, champion safety, quality, and efficiency, and lead a team of 8–12 fabricators.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of metal fabrication supervisory experience, strong blueprints sense, and hands-on knowledge of sheet metal processes, CNC lasers, and ERP systems like Fulcrum or Epicor. This on-site role demands hands-on leadership in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of metal fabrication supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
• Experience programming CNC lasers and/or press brakes and setting up tooling.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Fulcrum or Epicor.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, coach, develop, and hold production employees accountable.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Balance production output with safety, quality, efficiency and delivery requirements.

Responsabilités

• Execute production priorities and directives established by the Production Manager and leadership team.
• Communicate and elevate production obstacles promptly to ensure issues are addressed promptly.
• Execute the daily production schedule and assist with sequencing brake press, laser cutting, spot welding and welding operations.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications to ensure parts are manufactured correctly the first time.
• Supervise a team of fabricators and provide daily direction to 8–12 staff.
• Enforce safety procedures, PPE, and 6S standards on the shop floor.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, workflow, quality, and equipment utilization.
• Support ERP data entry, production tracking, and process mapping.
