Job summary

IMMI is seeking a qualified Fabrication Supervisor/Manager to lead a team of technicians across CAPE test centers. You will manage equipment maintenance, test fabrication, and preparation, ensuring high-quality, confidential customer testing while collaborating with engineering, operations, and scheduling teams.

The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and cross-functional teamwork, with a focus on safety, SOP adherence, and on-time delivery in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product testing, fabrication, or a related technical field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, test plans, and data.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with electronics, tools, software, and required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop fabrication technicians to ensure high-quality work and professional growth.
• Coordinate daily operations to meet CAPE benchmarks and ensure on-time delivery of testing services.
• Oversee the design and installation of fixtures.
• Ensure test requests and prep docs are complete and clear before setup.
• Maintain compliance with safety policies, SOPs, quality manuals, and code of conduct.
• Oversee equipment preventive maintenance and documentation for repeatable results.
• Contribute to SOPs, processes, and documentation improvements.
• Assist with CAPE facility tours, protecting confidential information.
• Coordinate after-hours or weekend coverage to support urgent testing and deadlines.
• Collaborate with CAPE leaders to develop new testing capabilities.
