Insteel Industries seeks a Fabrication Shop Lead for 1st shift (6am-2pm) to supervise daily fabrication operations, set up and operate bender equipment, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate blends hands-on fabrication skills with team leadership, reading blueprints, and driving continuous improvement in a heavy manufacturing environment. This role emphasizes ALARA safety and a strong commitment to zero harm.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience reading blueprints, shop drawings and production specs.
• 1–2 years in fabrication shop environment with handling of benders and related machines.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily fabrication shop operations and lead 2–3 employees.
• Set up and operate bender equipment and other fabrication machinery.
• Perform regular quality checks and ensure products meet specifications.
• Read build sheets and drawings; prepare for changeovers.
• Maintain safe, organized, and productive work area.
