Job summary

T Bailey, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner in Anacortes, WA. This on-site role connects Bidding, Supply Chain, and Production to keep the fabrication shop in sequence and ahead of emerging issues.

You will develop the master production schedule, release work orders, and coordinate with floor leaders, ensuring on-time delivery while balancing capacity and material availability.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in production scheduling, planning, or operations coordination.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and capacity planning.
• Familiarity with lean principles: pull scheduling, kanban, takt time.
• Proficiency in Excel for scheduling analysis and reporting.
• Ability to read work orders, travelers, routers, and engineering docs.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Adaptable and able to resolve problems before they escalate.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master production schedule across fabrication, welding, and finishing/assembly.
• Release work orders in priority sequence and align with site leads on plans.
• Monitor schedule execution in real time to catch delays or shortages.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain on material readiness and lead times.
• Schedule around inspections, rework queues, and first-article approvals.
• Set realistic delivery commitments with Bidding and Project Managers.
• Model impact of new orders, staffing changes, or downtime on the schedule.
• Contribute to lean improvements targeting flow and lead time reduction.
• Maintain a visible schedule board for production leaders on the floor.
