Job summary

Air Distribution Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Fabrication Production Scheduler for its Sanford, NC facility.

The role focuses on creating and maintaining daily/weekly schedules for fabrication operations, coordinating with supervision, materials, and quality to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. The candidate will read engineering drawings, routings, and BOMs, use ERP/MRP systems, and ensure material availability while optimizing capacity and labor alignment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business preferred.
• 3-5+ years of production planning or scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment (metal fabrication preferred).
• Working knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, capacities, and constraints.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, routings, and bills of material.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across shop floor and functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules for fabrication operations.
• Sequence work orders to optimize flow and align capacity with demand.
• Release and manage shop orders, travelers/routers, and dispatch lists on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with supervision, materials, and purchasing to ensure material availability.
