Job summary

Iowa Premium, a National Beef Company, is hiring a Fabrication Quality Assurance Technician to monitor and inspect product quality at the end of production lines in Tama, Iowa. You will fill audit reports and help enforce GMPs and SSOPs on site.

This hourly, on-site position requires knowledge of HACCP, experience with Excel, and ability to read/write/speak Spanish. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Knowledge of HACCP Process (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points).
• Experience with email communications.
• Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Beef products knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to withstand extreme hot/cold environments.
• Must be able to read, write and speak Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality at end of production lines.
• Inspect meat to specifications and fill out audit reports.
• Enforce GMPs and SSOPs in the plant.
• Perform metal detector auditing and E. coli testing via N60 sampling.
• Other duties as assigned.
