Job summary

Iowa Premium, a National Beef Company, is seeking a Fabrication Quality Assurance Technician in Tama, IA. You will monitor product quality at the end of production lines, inspect meat to specifications, and fill audit reports while enforcing GMPs and SOPs.

Ideal candidates will have strong written and verbal communication, HACCP knowledge, and experience with email and MS Excel. Bilingual Spanish preferred; overtime, weekends, and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of HACCP processes.
• Experience with email communications.
• Beef products knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality at end of production lines and inspect meat for specifications.
• Fill out audit reports and enforce GMPs and SOPs.
• Perform metal detector auditing and E. coli sampling (N60) on trim.
• Other duties as assigned.
