Job summary

M3 Engineering & Technology Corp. is seeking an SGS Coordinator to support fabrication QA/QC for purchased equipment and materials used on mining capital projects. The role blends office documentation review with on-site inspection activities, spending 60–85% in the office and 15–40% on-site at vendor facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in fabrication/manufacturing/industrial QA/QC.
• Experience with QA/QC documentation (ITPs, MTRs, NDE reports).
• Experience coordinating inspections with third-party inspection agencies.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple vendors and schedules.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and tracking logs/reports.
• Willingness to travel, including international travel.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Review vendor QA/QC documentation (ITPs, MTRs, NDE reports, weld maps, dimensional reports, calibration certificates).
• Maintain QA/QC logs, inspection schedules, and vendor document registers.
• Build and distribute status reports on fabrication progress and non-conformances.
• Identify gaps and follow up with vendors to close documentation.
• Review drawings for tagging and manuals for completeness.
• Issue release to ship once QA conditions are met.
• Schedule and coordinate inspections at vendor facilities.
• Source and manage third-party inspection agencies.
• Act as liaison between company, vendors, and inspectors.
