Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation is seeking a skilled maintenance and shop support professional in Maryland to bolster daily fabrication and prototyping operations. You will perform hands-on maintenance, prepare work areas, and finish components to support final assembly within a production environment.

Applicants should have 5+ years of relevant experience, be able to read basic drawings, and safely handle tools while maintaining organized stock areas and workflow processes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of hands-on maintenance, fabrication shop support, or industrial operations experience.
• Experience performing general maintenance and shop support tasks in fabrication/production.
• Experience deburring, sanding, cleaning, finishing machined or fabricated components.
• Experience organizing materials, staging, and supporting fabrication workflows.
• Experience preventive and minor corrective maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Experience keeping work areas and stockrooms clean, organized, safe.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings and equipment instructions.
• Ability to safely use standard hand and power tools.
