Job summary

Action Group Staffing is seeking a dependable Production/Fabrication Associate for a full-time role in Northern New Jersey. The position suits someone who enjoys working with tools, building or fabricating products, and completing custom work orders in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include reading orders and prints, measuring materials, operating tools and equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Forklift experience is helpful and overtime opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately use a tape measure.
• Basic math skills.
• Comfortable working with hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and prints.
• Willingness to perform hands-on work in a production environment.
• Regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs and occasionally 50–75 lbs.
• Forklift experience is helpful, but candidates may be taught.

Responsibilities

• Complete production and fabrication work orders accurately.
• Measure materials using a tape measure.
• Read and interpret work orders, prints, and job specifications.
• Operate mechanical equipment and hand tools safely.
• Handle and move materials throughout the work area.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive workspace.
• Learn specialized fabrication processes and equipment.
• Operate a forklift or train to operate one as needed.
