Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an Administrative Clerk to convert engineering data into shop fabrication data for the production line in Montrose, Colorado. You will create cut lists, bunking lists, fabrication drawings, and electronic files to guide manufacturing.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED or have 18 months of truss fabrication experience, with strong organizational and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical tasks to release a job into the shop, including creating cut lists, bunking lists, fabrication drawings and electronic files.
• Creates job folders and generates shop drawings.
• Groups shop drawings by work center and batches jobs; creates cutting reports.
• Releases jobs to production and updates scheduling status.
• Edits work orders in On-Line Software for shop labor totals and retrieves production data.
• Performs routine tasks in the production department and supports other duties as assigned.
