Job summary
Ravelin Defense Inc. is seeking a hands-on Fabrication Manufacturing Engineer in Green Bay, WI. You will support laser cutting, waterjet cutting, and press brake operations while optimizing processes for quality and throughput.
You will act as a bridge between Engineering and Production to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and production-ready, while developing standard work and training programs for operators.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent manufacturing experience.
- Experience in fabrication or metal manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on with laser/waterjet/press brake operations.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving.
- Shop floor collaboration with engineering and production.
Responsibilities
- Operate and support laser, waterjet, press brakes and related equipment.
- Provide DFM feedback to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop tooling, fixtures, and workholding to reduce setup time.
- Create standard work instructions and operator training guides.
- Collect production data and drive continuous improvement.
- Support NPI transitions to production.
