Job summary

Freeman Enclosure Systems is seeking an experienced Fabrication Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team in Batavia, Ohio. The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machinery to accurately bend and form sheet metal and steel components used in the fabrication of electrical enclosures and related products.

The ideal candidate will have previous press brake experience, strong blueprint-reading skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability

Qualifications

• Experience operating a press brake in manufacturing or fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of bend allowances, tolerances and machinery setup.
• Ability to measure and inspect parts accurately with basic shop math.
• Ability to operate hand/power tools and maintain quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake equipment according to blueprints and work orders.
• Program and adjust machine settings for proper bends and tolerances.
• Read and interpret drawings, verify material type and dimensions.
• Inspect parts during production using measuring tools.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and comply with safety procedures.
