Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc in Oshkosh, Wisconsin is hiring for a Machine Operator I on the 2nd shift (Tuesday–Friday, 5 AM–3 PM). You will operate machinery to manufacture products and meet quality standards, following work instructions and safety rules.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and the ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, and use hand tools with precision.

• Communicate hazards and/or equipment issues with leadership.
• Occasionally provide basic training to employees as needed.
• Cross train in different areas within the department and flex to different stations as needed.

2nd Shift Tuesday - Friday 5AM - 3PM Machine Operator I – $25.60/hour

The Machine Operator – Operations I/II/III is responsible for operating machinery to manufacture products in a timely manner while fulfilling quality standards. The Machine Operator – Operations I/II/III will review work instructions, build product per specifications and within tolerances, complete all clean-up and housekeeping procedures, comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations including wearing all appropriate PPE.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
