Job summary

Flex Tek in Laconia, NH is seeking a hands-on assembler to inspect, assemble, and finish metal tube and hose components. You will read blueprints, perform quality checks, set up basic tooling, and handle parts from stock through to finished products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, and finished products.
• Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, salvages parts from assemblies and repairs tubes and fixtures.
• Uses hand tools to prepare hose for assembly, including removing rubber and fitting connections.
• Sets up abrasive, squaring, deburring, and sizing equipment (swager or crimper).
• Lifts, positions, and moves work pieces; reads blueprints and process sheets to manufacture tubes.
• Measures dimensions and performs quality tests per procedures.
• Loads, stacks, and transports stock, tools, dies, and work in process.
• Cleans work area and ensures pieces are ready for fabrication, welding, painting, or shipping.
