Job summary

Corbins, part of Nox Group, is seeking a Material Handler to support fabrication and prefab activities in our Austin facility. You will use hand and power tools to assemble parts, read blueprints, and prepare materials for fabrication.

The role requires basic math, safety awareness, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You’ll work with a collaborative team to meet production schedules and maintain records of work orders and inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; fabrication or welding training is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Basic math for measurements and material quantities; safety awareness.
• Experience with fabrication tools and machinery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to fabricate parts and assemble components per specifications.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine materials and procedures.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and follow safety protocols.
• Handle materials and prepare for fabrication; maintain inventory records.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely production and issue resolution.
• Document work orders and production schedules; assist with housekeeping.
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues and assist as needed on site.
