Job summary

Nox Group is seeking a Material Handler to support fabrication and assembly for the construction industry. The role requires reading blueprints, operating fabrication tools, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; fabrication or welding training advantageous.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and measurements.
  • Basic math skills for dimensioning and material calculations.
  • Proficiency with fabrication tools and machinery; safe operation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Operate fabrication equipment and assemble components per specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine materials and procedures.
  • Inspect products to ensure quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment and follow safety protocols.
  • Prepare materials for fabrication, including cutting and shaping metals, plastics, or composites.
  • Collaborate with team to ensure on-time production and resolve issues.
  • Maintain records of work orders, schedules, and inventory.
  • Troubleshoot fabrication process issues and equipment.
