STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a Fabrication Mechanic - Marking Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for accurate labeling of parts and assemblies using multiple marking methods under supervision.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, applying marking techniques, and documenting identification data. It includes shifts with differential and regular standing for long periods; physical lifting as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related training or equivalent.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work with markings as required.
• Ability to operate marking methods and document results.

Responsibilities

• Understand drawings, orders, and routers to determine marking requirements.
• Use marking methods (Electro-Etch, Laser, Vibro-Peen, Dot-Peen, Ink) to identify materials and assemblies.
• Barcode scan or manually enter identification in the computer.
• Apply aluminum tags and assemble marked components per instructions.
• Stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed; maintain safety and quality.
