Job summary

Prolec GE Vernova is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for 2nd and 3rd shifts at our Wisconsin facility. This full-time role requires 3–5 years of manufacturing leadership, a Bachelor’s degree, and the ability to lead a unionized workforce.

You will drive safety, quality, and delivery while coaching teams across shifts. You will monitor production, solve issues in real time, and push continuous improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3–5 years of manufacturing leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a unionized production team to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals.
• Monitor production flow, troubleshoot issues in real time, and remove barriers to efficiency.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance feedback for shifts.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and cost targets.

Work Schedule:

• 2nd Shift - M-F | 3pm - 11pm
• 3rd Shift - M-F | 11pm - 7am

*ALL NEW HIRES must train on 1st shift for the first 90 days.

• Inspire, coach, and support a union workforce to hit production goals safely and efficiently
• Build trust, accountability, and strong team engagement on your shift

Drive Performance

• Actively monitor production flow, address issues in real time, and remove barriers
• Improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support cost and delivery targets

Own Quality & Safety

• Ensure compliance with manufacturing and engineering standards
• Investigate non-conformances and safety incidents and lead corrective actions
• Be a visible safety champion on the floor

Develop the Team

• Support hiring decisions, onboarding, and training plans
• Provide regular feedback and coaching to grow future leaders
• Identify opportunities for process, workflow, and performance improvements
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable solutions

What We're Looking For

Required

• Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of manufacturing leadership experience (or equivalent hands-on leadership experience)
• Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Degree in Operations Management or Engineering
• Experience leading in a unionized manufacturing environment
• Background in engineered or industrial products
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
