Job summary

Viking Corp in Texas is hiring a Fabrication Maintenance Specialist to support fabrication equipment reliability across multiple TX locations. You will work with Engineering, Operations, and Fabrication leadership to minimize downtime and keep automated welding systems, PLC-controlled equipment, and metalworking machines operating safely.

This role requires hands-on maintenance, preventive and predictive maintenance, and training for operators and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience with hands-on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with welding and fabrication of steel components; robotics/PLC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Viking Engineering to develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs for fabrication equipment.
• Provide maintenance and troubleshooting for automated/semi-automated welding equipment, robotic welding systems, PLC-controlled equipment, threading/grooving machines, saws and other fabrication machinery.
• Diagnose issues, minimize downtime, train operators and supervisors, and support safety programs per OSHA requirements.
